Santa Claus is coming to Town!

I had a little shoot the other day for some Christmas card photos for two families. It was a funny, chaotic and crazy morning, but I think everyone agreed, Santa's little helpers were very good and gave us some gorgeous images to choose from!

If I wasn't a photographer...

...Could I be a cake-maker? My daughter turns five on Sunday, and set me the daunting task of making her a Barbie cake to celebrate! The baking of the cake was probably the most difficult part, fondant makes folds automatically, thereby making the skirt look quite realistic, and the piping is fun and easy to do. I am quite pleased with the result, although next year I think cupcakes will be in order!

Nine weeks old and so adorable. This little guy slept like an angel for his photos, and looked like one too! Shot in their living room which has the loveliest bay window for natural light, I wish I could do all my shoots there!
